Is Obama freaking out about the debate cuz he's afraid it will be rescheduled for a different day of the week?

Is it because he is weak on foreign policy and he knows this is a strong area for McCain? Does he want the debate to take place on a Friday night when no one is at home to watch?

Are you on drugs??? How in the hell are you going to try to spin McCain running from this debate as Obama being "freaked out".

I really really swear one of the biggest mysterious for me has been solved...never knew who fell for internet scams...now I am positive it is republicans.

Spin away, McCain just looked like he can't hold two thoughts in his mind at the same time. It was a very poor tactical decision to make this some Superman swoop into DC to save the economy.

It didn't work, he just looked a little foolish.

After all, why suspend ads so you can go to DC?

Unless you were running out of money and didn't want the opposition to know?

McCain isn't even on the Banking committee who is looking into this, so he has no reason to be there.

There is something behind this. He flat out refused McCain invitation to 10 different debates (with no explanation) but now he's pissed because McCain has work to do. Something is up, something doesn't smell right in the Obama corner, not that it ever did. I know Obama doesn't like to work as we have seen him show up for his job 144 days out of well over 1040 days. This is a piss poor record and not one I want for a president.

I love it, a person with the name "mooseballs" asked you if you were dumb. Isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?

    President McCain has already won.

Here's are the facts; McCain want's to move the debate for next friday, which is the day Biden and Palin are scheduled to debate. Which will give Palin another week to avoid, and possibly cancel her debate with Biden.

The Debate Committee are only allowing a set number of days to hold all the debates prior to election day. Obama and McCain are set to have three debates and one for the Vice Presidential debate.

He's basically protecting Palin on making a mockery of herself and ruin their chances of winning this election.

PS. The congress was already moving prior to McCain's announcement to suspend his campaign. He was already informed that he will be called upon if he's needed.

McCain is not in anyway member of the Banking Committee in the senate, so this whole suspension is politically motivated to get back into the polls. But as we all know now, it only made it worse.

No. Try to keep up. Gov. Barber issued a statement explaining that the university and the state had to spend MILLIONS and MONTHS planning for Friday's event. It's not that simple to reorganize the debate. There are only about 40 days remaining in the general election season.

McCain knew that. He was just grandstanding in an effort to change the momentum. McCain hasn't voted in congress since APRIL 9th! He also didn't bother to read the THREE PAGE proposal until today.

    What a scam.

No he is making McCain look like the weak little girl he really is :P

They are expecting up to 100 million people to watch. It doesn't matter what day of the week it is.

Its only being re-scheduled to give Palin more time. She is simply not ready and hasn't had a press conference yet, 4 weeks now without talking to the press.
