Will the next Vice Presidential and Presidential debate be conducted the same way?
The right of free speech is like being able to express your views without fear or oppression. Not a single person speaks perfectly every time. What is an infringement on free speech is not allowing press or audience members to ask questions of the presidential candidates after the debate is over and in the same venue with all who are present for the debates. It is an error of the powers that be to not broadcast such an important event.
Yes, I watched the first presidential debate. It was conducted in such a way that the press and the people were not allowed to ask any questions of the presidential candidates.
Free Speech will always survive as long as people can talk.

I don´t really know about the VP debate. I think it will be in the same way, but without discussion. Just answering the questions.
The second Pres debate will be answering questions from the audience and YOuTube users, the third one will be a town-hall debate.

No, it won't. They are shortening the "answer period" at the request of the McCain campaign, so there is less time for sarah to screw up.
They will not encourage back and forth dialogue, like there wwas any in the presidential debate! You have to get a person to look at you before you can talk to them!

The VP debate will be around less specific topics, but the answers are not going to be as long.

Blame it on Obama. McCain wanted 10 town hall meetings for the debates, but Obama turned him down. There will still be one of those.

The VP is even more restricted. The Reps wanted a precise set of questions for Palin before hand with no followups and they got what they wanted
