Can hamsters eat thistle seed?
I have some thistle seed at home. I was going to give some to my hamster as a treat, but I don't know if it is poisonous. Can I give some?
I won't take any chances if I don't know, but if somebody knows for sure, that would be great.

I personally wouldnt.
I wouldnt take the chance of him getting sick or worse, die.
Stick to his regular diet
But you can give him carrots, grapes, corn, and other yummy veggies and fruits.
I used to own 2 robo hamsters. They got fresh fruit and veggies every day, with their normal diet. They lived to be 4 1/2 years old!
