Dems, how do you feel that your party will bankrupt the nation soon?

I'm just amazed that anyone in the middle class would vote for a democrat. They are all about helping poor people who don't want to work.

This is pretty laughable indeed. I read the Dallas News article you have listed there and found nothing backing up what you are saying. As a matter of fact, Scott Burns seemed to be blaming BOTH parties for the issues at hand and not just one or the other. He makes a very simple statement that the Democrats are not innocent of this deficit. And of course democrats passed bills that help Americans you idiot. When FDR was president the world was bankrupt and in the Great Depression. Something had to be done to increase hope and help people obtain jobs and security in their lives. Then WWII happened and the economy made a big turn because of full employment of citizens that were of age to work.

Obviously your slanted by your conservative republican roots and you do not have the guts to admit the Republicans are as guilty as the democrats. So again, lets vote for a different party and see what happens!

It could be a setup to get McCain elected, because the entire election is a scam. The controllers tell their sock puppets, like Pelosi, what to do in order to achieve a certain result, and she followers whatever they tell her with a smile on her mug.

The government needs to pass a balanced budget every year. George W Bush (R) has failed to propose and authorize a balanced budget in his tenure as president. If this nation goes bankrupt, it will not be be the sole fault of the Democrats.

Sorry but the Republicans are responsible for this one. If they were not letting big business do what ever they wanted in the name of "Free Enterprise" then we would have regulations that control how business is done and we would not be in the mess we are in. No one asked me if I wanted in the mortgage business and now I will be in it to the tune of 7,000 per person in the USA and I will never see a penny of their profit when they are "Back on their feet". What happened to free enterprise and being responsible for the way that you run your own business. Are we charging them the same 30% interest that they allow the credit card company's to charge us to pay us back? This bail out is the dumbest thing I have ever seen considered.
