Who thinks Manny Ramerez and CC Sabathia would look good in pinstripes?

the Yankees have already made a move for CC Sabathia, offering him more than any other team. however, CC wants to hit, therefore, he will stay in the NL. the team with the best chance to sign him is the LA Dodgers. CC already has a home there. LA has lots of $, although not as much as the Yankees. as for Manny, it wouldn't surprise me. lol.

I do think that the Yankees will be in the forefront of the CC Sabathia sweepstakes. However, you have to admit, you are in need of a whole lot more than one pitcher. Landing Sabbathia would give you him and Wang. You still need 2-3 more starters. Hughes and Kennedy are busts. I don't know why they want Joba out of the pen, but thats where he will be.

Manny I don't see in the Bronx, but if he is it will be a 6 year deal and that will leave you screwed in 2 years.

Secondly, youre bugging if you think the Mets can't afford both of them.

I don;t see the Mets making a play for Sabbathia though, as we have a decent rotation, and Sabbathia is going to get *** load of money, that we will want to spend elsewhere, like k-rod for example.

I do think the Mets will make a play for Manny though, cuz we need a little left field action.

Don't forget that Vlad is a free agent too, and I bet the Yankees make a play for him, since he is on the decline and aging, and thats the perfect recipe for the Yankees signings.

"team camaraderie" and Manny Ramirez are two things that do not go together. All that Manny Being Manny stuff, is really an excuse for him being an immature selfish baby.

Yeah, Manny brings a heavy bat to the lineup but he also brings a lot of other baggage with him, plus the Yanks have some pretty heavy bats in their line-up already. They need pitching more than anything else and that has to be priority one this off season for them.

Since he wouldn't be helping the Yankees with dominant pitching, I have to assume you think Manny Ramirez would help with "team camaraderie". Ummm, okay.

Regarding the Yankees being the first baseball team to wear pinstripes...ummm, no. The Cubs were the first team to wear pinstripes which the Yankees adopted in 1912 for one season. In 1915 they reintroduced pinstripes and have been using them ever since. But they weren't the first.

It's going to take a lot to convince CC to stop pitching to NL hitting.

And did a Yankee fan really just call paying Jose Reyes less than $6 million per year wasteful?

Ramirez and Sabathia would look well in wearing any of these.

It might be cool to see Manny in Cubbie pinstripes playing with his cousin but I highly doubt he will be in Yankee pinstripes next year...I still think the Mets make a serious bid to get him since Omar loves Manny...as for Sabathia, I do believe he will play for the Yankees next year...that said lets just focus on this year as the playoffs are about to begin...Go Red Sox!

CC Sabathia wants to play in the NL on the West Coast, that sounds like Dodgers to me, no way the Giants and Padres will pay that kind of money; but I think Manny would be a fit in LF for the Mets. (Manny, Carlos, and Ryan Church...not a bad OF; and would be the best one in NY)....

Lol Reyes isn't a waste for the mets...and I don't want C.C. to go to the Yankees. I want him to go anywhere but the Yankees or the Tigers.

I think that the Yankees would rather go after CC because they need pitching, they have enough hitting, I have been saying this for years!!

If they get C.C. then this would be their projected staff.
