Don't the kids have homework tonight (spiritually speaking)?

The numbers of thumbs down on certain answers is a clear indication of not enough homework being given to the youngsters methinks. It's counter-productive to give thumbs-down to people who have a different opinion, when they should go to those who express themselves rudely or stupidly. And stupid doesn't mean not agreeing with you.

Update:

Some fun answers. I don't mean to target the "kids", but the TU and TD situation seems nuts tonight! I wish there was a little more thinking going on here!

Hollow77 -- I AM worse than your mom! Ask my kids!

Dagger -- we put in "spiritually speaking", as a joke to make a non-spiritual question into a "spiritual" one. :)

    Here here!

Everyone has a right to an opinion. I truly think thumbs down should be reserved for rude remarks or answers that have nothing to do with the given situation.

Nothing wrong with an intelligent debate and voicing your opinions. But things can get a little personal, sometimes.

And, since I'm somewhat obsessed with thumbs ratings, I've noticed that a lot of times, an answerer will go back and give everyone else a thumbs down. It's easy to see this, when all but one answer is rated badly within seconds.

usually kids finish their homework before they get on here...and if u would like to work for more than 10-11 hours a day (since school is 8 hours and often homework takes 2-3 hours) since u think there isn't enough work for kids, be my guest to work longer than 11 hours...lol...but yeah it is a bit rude to give thumbs down to everyone besides ur answer...but all u have to do is just ignore a thumbs down for a perfectly reasonable answer...being bothered by the tumbs down is stupid...ive never looked at the number of thumbs down's given to choose an answer...i thin the" every answer gets a thumbs down" issue has nothing to do with age...i bet you that there is a 30 yr old man doing it or an elderly woman that just wants to polk fun at taking the internet seriously....though im sure its a rare thing...

edit: rebecca, i went to school in the U.S and when i was a kid i went for 8 hours...from 6:30 to 2:30...its still like that where im living last i checked in highschool...where ur living has a totally different arrangement in times from here then.

I don't have homework, since I graduated high school already. I give thumbs up or down based on the intelligence of the answer.

You have a very good point. I just got a ton of thumbs down for voicing my support for Obama. I believe that some people are just too immature , and those that aren't old enough to be mature in the first place, just don't have enough homework to do.

Kids? What about us adults with homework? I am attempting to improve my skills so as to benefit society. Giving a thumbs down is an expression of opinion, just as you expressed your opinion. Don't take it so seriously.

Agreed. I shall send a form letter to all schools immediately. (Well, immediately after I win the lottery so I can afford stamps for all the letters.)

Edit - Ummm, Jenn, I don't know where you go to school, but here in the US it's only 6 hours long at the most.

I thing these kids are amazingly smart and mature. They have more of a full load than the last generation ever had. They need to let some steam out.

i've got considered some quite risky heterosexual families, the place foul language, alcohol and abuse reign very terrific. teenagers becoming up in such environments might have substantial subject concerns while they enhance up, would be greater possibly to have drug and alcohol issues, and might substitute into abusive themselves. A male couple i know properly are elevating their daughter mutually. She is the organic and organic daughter of one of them. the adult adult males have been married in Canada. Their daughter became born by skill of skill of surrogate. Neither of the adult adult males drinks or smokes or makes use of any drugs. Their house is sparkling, their daughter is enjoyed and cared for, and is chuffed and healthful. My factor: the gender of dad and mom has no concerning their skill to enhance healthful, chuffed babies. some straights are great at it, some are awful. an identical could be actual for gay dad and mom and for single dad and mom. yet everyone who can exact love and bring up a new child might desire to be allowed to realize this. Edit for LOL sup: the place did you get that ridiculous concept that maximum gay adult adult males have been molested? this is incredibly untrue. i know quite 1000's of gay adult adult males. of those, i know of basically one that became ever molested... and he knew he became gay formerly it befell. Get an preparation and quit spreading lies. i'm gay and no one ever touched me! yet another edit for LOL sup- What great lack of awareness. you in all probability have been given those information from some desirable wing nut team like AFA. they do no longer hesitate to fabricate information. you like the data? Get to renowned some gay human beings and discover out for your self. And as for quoting Leviticus, attempt interpreting that verse in Hebrew... it would not say what you think of it does.

I think it's all part of the wider problem of a disgraceful education system.

(Isn't it funny that disgraceful education system could mean any English speaking country?)
