Mean Bus Driver Strikes Again!!?

Definitely report the incident to the head of the school (principal, etc), with names and date. He needs to have documentation in order to do something about a problem, so the more documentation the better. If you know of other incidents, get them in writing as well. Then go to the principal with this and tell him you expect to hear about what has been done. If he doesn't get back with you, call & find out a week or so later. Keep on it, and keep documenting, and have your friends do the same thing.

They say never to cross a mother protecting her cub. I too, would be upset but keep your cool. All you have to do is call the school office and ask who you would speak to about a problem with a bus driver. You don't need to tell the office what your problem is. Wait to speak to the bus driver's supervisor. They will direct you to the right person. Speak calmly and put it succinctly and it will get you further. I complained to our school one time and the problem was corrected the first time. Tell them the problem, what was done about it, how unhappy you are with the outcome and what you want them to do about it. I would tell them that I didn't want this person driving my kid's route again!

EDIT: Claude, there is no head teacher. The bus driver reports to a superior and his superior reports to the Principal. The Principal reports to the Superintendent and the Superintendent reports to the Board of Education, etc.

Do you know if any other parents feel like this? Have you talked to the head teacher as they could say to the bus company that these things happen? Is there someone above the bus station supervisor that you could complain about this person's conduct to? If any other parents feel likewise, you could bring it up at a PTA meeting. Also you could write to the school governors or the education authority.

the best thing to do is speak to the head teacher of their school, they are young and should be comfortable with the bus driver.Report your feelings.
