Why is Joe the plumber worried about raised taxes?

I just saw Joe, the plumber, speak with Diane Sawyer. He's just dreaming that, one day, he would be able to own his own plumbing business.

Diane Sawyer asked if it's OK to tax a little more to a guy with $5M than a guy with $1M. Joe's answer is that Obama's policy is "incredibly wrong" because why should you pay more tax because you are more successful. It's a socialist mindset.

So, it's about greed. If Joe has $100 billion dollars, he would tell the country why should he pay a dime more than a woman making $42,000 because he's more successful. Our economy is drowning, and it really is because of this type of greed and one-sided minds. If the CEO's of corporate America had any sense of social responsibilitis, the corporate America wouldn't work the way it has been. The CEO's sat in their office and said to themselves, "why shouldn't I get $480M when I worked to go to good school and work as a CEO making decisions?"

Joe's mind = Average CEO's mind.

He forgot that each one of us has some degree of social responsibilities, including paying the taxes.

It's about he's greed and self-fulfilment.

The man lives in Ohio. We have quite abit to worry about financially.

Please cut us Ohio folks some slack will you? We have been losing quite a few jobs for quite a while no matter who was president. And you do want us to vote for your side (being a swing state and all).

Look if Ohio people say they have a problem with your candidate your candidate has to listen.

Now isn't it about time we got back federal funds back that are much closer to 100% of what we pay in taxes? We kind of need the money.

because he works for a small business and obama is all for raising taxes on "small businesses" that make $250,000 or more, which include grocery stores, lumber company's, building contractors, car dealers, etc. they all make over $250,000. so his "small Business" taxes are going to shoot up everyones payments therefore, raising the merchandise they are selling and having the threat of going out of Business meaning MANY lost jobs. thats why Joe the plumber is freaking out.

He's concerned with being able to provide for his family on the income he has.

People who work for a living worry over such things.

I bet his personal income is not 250k+ cmon now that's a ton of pipes to clean.
