McCain voted with Bush over 90% of the time. Would he represent change?

Sen. McCain voted with Bush policy over 90% of the time from 2004 to present. His percentage was even higher in voting with Bush policy from 2000 to 2004. Would he really represent change from current failed Bush policies were he to be elected President?

    Nope, more of the BUSHit.

I'm so tired of hearing him claim himself as a "reformer."

He's been in Washington longer than I have been on this Earth...

    What has he reformed, exactly?!

Sarah never "got back to" Katie Couric on that.

Yes I do think so.... I will bet you anything that there are quite a few other Congressmen that have done the same thing... Also in the past he has been more than willing to crossover party lines to get things done.... whereas Obama has voted (or not voted or voted present) with his party 100% of the time.... and I am sorry but not everything that the Dems bring to the table is good for the whole country...

Since most every vote in the Senate is unanimous most of the Senators vote with the President. Hundreds of Bills pass and are signed every year only a handful are vetoed by the President. So, most every Senator votes with the President nearly all the time.

This is just a red herring designed to mislead you. Senator Biden is nearly at 90% so is Senator Clinton. This is only spin.

This is what everyone should be asking. What is the 10% that McCain did not vote with Bush policies? What percentage of that 90% of the time are good policies in place?

You sound easily swayed by the left-wing propaganda machine. Do a little research and you'll find that Shaky Joe (Biden) and HMS Hilary voted in favor of "Bush-proposals" more often. As far as BO goes, he was more comfortable at voting "present" during senate proposals. This is always much easier than taking a stand. Then again, Obama must wait to hear what his spin-doctors tell him is most popular. He'd be speechless without a tele-prompter!

First of all, McCain is not Bush! I think McCain is really for Americans and would do his best to convince the House and Senate that changes have to be made. It is really not in the hands of any President to make changes, it's all the other Vultures filling their pockets that are afraid of change.

Atleast McCain voted. Obama the slick slimey bugger voted present most of the time rather than be a responsible representative for the people. That show's me he is a self centered individual that is about as worthless as tit's on a boar hog.

    He would not.

He's been in politics for 26 years, and can you name one good thing McCain had done to change this country?

He says he will bring change, but what's his excuse for waiting this long to bring it? Does he think he will magically be a better man if he wins?

His embarrassing actions speak louder than words. Even his biggest supporters are ashamed of his conduct in recent months.

I have news for you. President George Bush and his polices are right on. He has kept America safe from any more terrorist attacks.

I am proud to be able to vote for John McCain for President. He will keep up the good work that his predecessor started.
