forgot the name of this book.....? its about...?
this girl and her best guy friend. i cant remember their names but i remember that hes sort of an indie/rocker kind of guy with long hair (always in a ponytail) and a pierced ear and a little guitar earring or something like that. well anyway hes like in love with her but she likes some other guy who i think is really popular and they get together and stuff....and she has a pet iguana or some sort of reptile? i think her friends name is boone but i am not sure...
god! i dont remember much at all cuz u see, i read this in like 7th grade and now im in 11th so its been a really long time...
oh and i think the book cover is blue lol
it would help if anyone knows what its called because im about to pull my hair out trying to figure the name out lol

It sounds like a book called "Rooster". Only that book has a green cover... If this helps jog your memory:
