Do you choose love or does love choose you?

I choose love for love conquers the dark parts of my soul. Even if the other person or persons don't choose love, for some reason my heart will choose love irregardless! It hurts at first when love is not reciprocated, but as I realize where this person or persons are coming from, forgiveness and acceptance settle in this soul of mine and I continue to choose to love.

Through the changes in my life and as I grow older, I realize there is no hate in me. The challenge is to know someone can genuinely love you just as much as you can love them.

Every individual is their personal arbiter of "Love".

Love is really a personal and private entity. Learning to Love requires exceptional self development and enrichment. Intellectual growth facilitates and monitors how an individual becomes conscious of introspective affection.

Devotion to growth is demonstrated in achievement and goal activities. Others may be inspired by the manner of display. Education and enrichment enable communication or exchange of knowledge.

Partners of affection or Lovers are mutually sensitive to romantic concepts and sensations on the basis of personal experience.

I disagree, You cannot choose who you fall in love with, its just something that happens, whether over a long period of time, or really quickly. You can choose whether to ignore the fact your in love but it will still be there. you cant make it go away either.

If a boyfriend or girlfriend hurts u really bad, you may hate them for whatever they have done but you will still love them.

So, to conclude, you cant choose who you fall in love with! And if you fall in love with someone that you dont want to, you cant make it go away!!

1. Emotional

2. Spiritual

3. Physical

Your reference to "heart" suggests your in the emotional facet and one's heart often dims reality, so you are left with you choose love.

I actually think that Love chooses us because it kind of just happens when we are least expecting it. If we go all out looking for Love, maybe we are 'overdoing' things and may make the mistake of thinking what we want to be true. Whereas, if Love finds us then perhaps it was fate..

Well, love chooses you in one sense..overtime you can gradually fall for them but that can be because you spent so much time with them youve gotten to know them abit more, making you fall in love.

So, im going to have to say...love chooses you but If u spend time with them then you chose them (or if u have to choose between 2 people) but at the same time your heart decides if you fall for them regardless of if u spent too much time with them.

Love was there before you, love will be after you. Love chooses you before the beginning of time, but you don't know it until you accept it. If it is true love, it can't be destroyed nor defined. It just is.
