There are so few really good horror films.

I would suggest The Exorcist, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shining, Halloween, and finally Shaun of the Dead to cheer you up at the end.

I would go with 28 days later and 28wks later. 1 of the best horror/ thriller films around.

1. Evil Dead 2

2. Night of the living dead.

3. Silent night, Deadly night.

4. An American Haunting.

5. Exorcist part one is the scariest.

Saw 1 and 2, not 3 and 4.

Definitely The Shining (in my opinion, the scariest film ever).

Dawn Of The Dead can fill the zombie genre.

Try not to get too much 'torture porn' like Hostel, because it's actually not the scary, just gruesome.
