Who else believes we will NOT know who won the election for at least a week?

I think there will be problems all over the country--there are many new election voting systems, and all the other problems including yes, Acorn registrations. What are your thoughts on problems (on BOTH sides, remember) for at LEAST a week and maybe up to a month?

Update:

Al S, well only electoral votes count, and very close races will definitely be contested by the party who supposedly lost. That's inevitable.

    I agree

  • If Obama wins Virginia OR North Carolina OR Florida it's over, unless McCain's bizarre Pennsylvania gambit pays off. And frankly it looks like he'll win Virginia by a comfortable margin. Florida and Ohio will very likely again be dead heat, but this time it probably won't matter.

I think this will be a completely fraudulent election and we will never know who actually won. No matter which one is declared the winner. We are having African dictator type corrupt elections now.

I agree, I think the issue of voter fraud, voting machines breaking down, people unable to vote due to long lines, etc will hold up the final results.

I suspect that it will last more than a week if the races in any state are even close.

  • Me, and that is why I will not stay up late to watch all the talking heads trying to build drama into it all. 1000's of lawyers are waiting to hash it all out.
