Anime poll #68: Do you watch an anime series first or read the manga first?

I usually watch the anime first and if its something I really really like I'll then read the manga. Although in some cases that isnt true because I have actually read some manga before I even knew they were an anime series! (Ouran High School Host Club,Paradise Kiss).

I mostly read the manga first and then watch the anime but sometimes i watch the anime and read the manga later as well. Yeah, sometimes i never watch the anime either.

- I watch anime first...... (yeah right). XD

- I always read the manga first and never watch the anime after that because I already knows the plot and storyline based from the manga. However, there's couple of exception in certain series where I look forward to watch their anime version.

- I do start of with anime in certain series and then, if the series happen to be in a bookstore, I'll start collecting it and never watch the anime again. Yeah, I know... maybe I'm the only one that not really a big fan of anime here in C&A section TT.TT Sorry if I let down some of you people here.... I'll leave now.... sobs!

Both, sometimes I watch the anime first and sometimes I read the manga first. When I read the manga first I almost always watch the anime after, but if I watch the anime first most of the time I never read the manga. Mainly because usually the art in the manga doesn't compare the the great art in the anime. The exception is Loveless and Junjou Romantica, both the animes and mangas are great despite the shortness of the Loveless anime. :)

I watch the anime first! And if people say the manga is good, then I will read it. But, only if the manga is different than the anime. ^^ If it's the same, then I (personally) don't see the point in reading it, but I find it interesting to have something different happen! So I sometimes like the outcome better in one than the other. =D

I usually watch the Anime first then read the Manga. But, if the item is a newly released Manga such as Nora Or the Castlevania Mangas, I read those first and hope they are eventually turned into Anime series! It would also be so cool to see Fairy Tail as an Anime series!

Well I always watch the anime before reading the manga, so I get surprised when theres something thats only in the manga.

XDDD Hmm... well, it depends. If I'm already reading the manga, I'll probably go out of my way to watch the anime, but if I start with the anime I probably won't look to read the manga unless I'm bored. and then, of course, the issue of voice actors comes in, and sometimes i won't watch an anime even if i really like the manga just because i don't like the subtitle font XDDD *picky* and also, female~

Well obvious I'm a InuYasha fan but I started seeing the anime on adultswim then like months later I found out it was based on a manga comic and so I watched all the episodes and read all the chapters!

I usually watch the anime first. If I like the anime well enough, then I read its manga counterpart to see how much better/more detailed it is.
