All Christians, Have you ever seen this?

The proper names in the bible are usually not translated but only transliterated. Have you ever seen this before?

HEBREW ENGLISH

Adam Man

Seth Appointed

Enosh Mortal

Kenan Sorrow;

Mahalalel The Blessed God

Jared Shall come down

Enoch Teaching

Methuselah His death shall bring

Lamech The Despairing

Noah Rest, or comfort.

Who would have ever thought that the christian gospel would be hidden in the hebrew text?

    Strangely enough... I have.

I watched a video the other day explaining how we got the Bible. This genealogy was included in that DVD.... along with quite a bit of other very interesting information.

Actually many of the Jews that I know act more Christ like than many Christians despite the fact that the majority of them have a negative view of Christianity. So I would say yes to a degree. I am happy to see on-Christians doing so well. How do we make Christians better? Better education for one education now is centered on what you are supposed to believe and why your sect is right. Way to much time is spent on why other churches are wrong. Nobody knows the history of Christianity or where their beliefs come from. Few are taught what living a Christian life is like and why.

I've see some of it before. There are many places in the OT where the Gospel is hidden.

Jesus is in Old Testament Concealed, and in the New Testament Revealed.

Yes, I did know this. There is a lot more of Christian gospel in Hebrew texts. Keep searching and exploring. It is like a treasure hunt. It is thrilling and exciting.

Well I am technically an ex-Christian, and now an Atheistic Agnostic, but yes I already knew that, except for Methuselah, Lamech, and Jared. I've done some research on the Bible and the Tanakh.

Very interesting. I think when we look for things to validate our beliefs we can turn it to mean what we want. I do find this interesting but if I was jewish I would feel you were manipulating the text to mean what you wanted it to say.

Most Christians follow a "bible" largely invented by an 18th Century British monarch (King James) designed to suit his specific needs then amended by Martin Luther (a mortal human), there is no logical reason to expect that to match the intent or content of actual scripture in any way!

I suppose God is limitless- and we will be exploring Him and all of creation forever with Him! There must be a lot more in the Bible we have to discover! Thanks for sharing this.
