Do You Think McCain/Palin Will Carry Alaska?
The Anchorage Daily News, Alaska's largest newspaper, has just endorsed Barack Obama. Obama also won the Caucus of the Alaskan State. The Daily News went on to state that Palin is not ready to be President and it would be too risky to vote for McCain, because of his age, going on to say that McCain's Campaign has been faulty. Since Sarah Palin is said to be a very popular Governor in Alaska, do you think the McCain/Palin ticket has a chance of winning there? Do you think her presence on the ticket will discourage Conservative votes in Alaska?

Think of what would happen if any of us acted on what a paper has printed. Anybody that has even the most elementary sense knows that the papers and video media are more tainted than a arsenic tonic. I have not found a paper yet that I can trust, in fact I gave up the search and canceled all of my subscriptions 4 yrs ago. I thought journalism was supposed to be non-biased and report the news.

Obama doesn't stand a chance in Alaska, they love their pork barrel money too much not to want to get a insider like Palin in the White House. Seriously, it is probably the most corrupt state in the union, of course they are going to vote Republican.

That state is heavily, heavily red. You could throw anyone into the ring and it would still go red. No matter - they only have 3 electors. Very small population.

Yes. The place is heavily Republican. It's only gone Dem once since statehood, I think, in the LBJ landslide.
