Is this why McCain is so confident he can pull ahead and win the election next week?

    Two points:

First, there is a long and dishonorable tradition in the US (and other democracies) of trying to rig the vote. As Tom Stoppard said "democracy is not in the voting, it's in the counting". Which side's fixers and lawyers will do a better job in this regard is unknowable at this stage.

Second, I doubt that this figured in McCain's confident attitude. He absolutely must exude confidence at this stage for fear his supporters get so despondent that they don't bother to vote.

I personally believe McCain is going to win but it will not be due to election fraud. It will be because, when people actually go to vote, they will recognize that one guy has spent a lifetime devoted to his country while the other is a questionable entity that has a number of questions about his past that have been left unanswered.

If you were hiring someone, would you not want to see their college transcripts? If they claimed to have a Ph.D., would you not ask to see their college thesis? Why is it different for Obama?

This is a pale comparison as to what Obama has done to rig the election. Giving ACORN $832,000 to get illegals, felons and drunks to the polls. Then when he agreed to Bail Out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac OBAMA got ACORN $5 hundred Billion. Now Every house that is sold the buyer has to pay $400,00 per $1000.00 of value at the closing table. OOPS...that will only be for those who have a little extra but for the poor that can not afford a house it will be zero down and the same thing will happen as before. Obama, Pelosi and Reid can just finish us off.

Because they have internal polls that do reflect what the people are "really" feeling not those paid off pollsters who are stooges for the Democratic Party and Barack Obama....They want people to think this election is over so people will go with the winner, but it is not over and McCain will pull an upset I feel...The tide is turning, people realize that what BHO is saying in his retoric is pure unadulterated Socialism agenda and people are starting to realized that they will be taxed to death, not only the $250,000K crowd, but the little guy...$50,000, 75,000, 10,000 and so on...This country cannot afford a Socialist to be elected to the Presidency with no experience; no background; no substance....So I pray that McCain pulls this out, which I feel he will. The momentum is changing....

I wouldn't worry too much about it. In 2000 and 2004, they only had to rig one state; Florida and Ohio respectively. This time, they'd have to rig at least 5 states for McCain to have a chance. I don't think even the Republicans have it in them to pull off a fraud of such magnitude.

dailykos isn't a great source but I have to say this doesn't surprise me after the last two "elections." They've already planted the fraud seed, the "Bradley Effect."

It's the only way they could steal the election with this huge a margin for Obama.

They know that proof that Obama is not a natural born citizen will come out just before the election.

Probably because he knows the fix is in. That vote flipping is scary and reports are coming in from every state that it's happening! Everyone, watch your votes on those electronics machines.

He is not - his campaign, with turn-coat Palin leading the way, is in disarray.

While victory for McSame is still possible if Obama supporters fail to vote, McCain's only hope is to have all his supporters vote. If they think it is over and don't show it is landslide time.
