Do you find Obama to be trustworthy?
Obama promised to go with the Presidential Election Campaign Fund instead of fund-raising money and then went back on his word, do you feel he can be trusted to keep his other campaign promises?
If so, why?

Obama isn't even very slightly trustworthy.
Obama promised to go with the Presidential Election Campaign Fund because ACCORDING TO OBAMA you're corrupt if you don't.
Every "controversy" has been met with one of his lies.
For example, regardless of what you think of his relationship with Ayers, by now you HAVE to know there is one and has been for a long time. I'm not persuading you about what the nature of that relationship is, just pointing out there certainly IS one and has been. Yet, when Ayers was 1st brought up, Obama claimed he didn't know him AT ALL. His 1st response to EVERYTHING has always been - it didn't happen, I wasn't there, I don't know what you're talking about.
When Bush was newly inaugurated, Democrats were all over TV telling us how confused they were because he was DOING what he campaigned on. They honest-to-God wondered out loud on TV "What's his angle?" They've missed recent history. Reagan DID what he campaigned on, Nixon, sadly, DID what he campaigned on . . . Look. Instead of making a whole list, know that history shows us that if you want to know what a Republican President will do, listen to his campaign. If you want to know what a Democrat President will do, listen to what his opponent tells you. Works every time.
It isn't taking a chance with Obama. We already know what he will do. Raise taxes, cut a few things government is required to do and spend insane amounts on unlawful programs. He WILL tank the economy and hostile foreign powers WILL feel safe to do as they please.
Let's pretend for a second that Obama isn't a stinking pile of LIE! O.K. He's spent his entire adult life NOT getting to know ANY of the people his entire resume is wrapped around. NONE of them are who he thought they were. Yeah. Let's put THAT guy in charge.

Obama said he would PUBLIC campaign funds, that would be campaign funds supplied by the government i.e. us the tax payers. Instead he changed his mind and went with using private funds donated by supporters instead of tax payers. I can support that change of mind.
Why is this an issue right now? Because he garnered so much money privately that McCain can't keep up and is purely jealous.
Can we trust Obama? As much as we can trust any politician, perhaps given his background slightly more. But ALL politicians make campaign promises and fail to deliver. What it comes down to really is how much drive they have to try and fulfill those promises. I see a lot of drive in Obama.

Yes, I do. He did not promise to go with public funding. John McCain did however and changed his mind when his money ran short, This happened during the primaries. Obama used public funds for that. McCain started out on public funds and then wanted to pay the public funds back when he was running short due to the long primary season.

I don't trust either main candidate! But on that issue, why the hell are the tax payers forced to pay for the election of candidates that are both ruining the country?

He's going to break every promise made. Mark my word. Dems better smarten up before one of the biggest mistakes is US history is made if BO is put into the White House. We are headed down a very slippery slope. I am terrified by this election.

I have never met Barack Obama. I doubt most of us have. It takes time to trust someone, what question you should be asking yourself is how do you know you can trust anyone? Politicians are rarely running for office simply because they wish to help the public in there ideals. 98% of the time the incumbent wins there seat or office simple due to franking (your tax dollars go to office holders so they can pay for there own advertisements), bribes (lobbyists), and name recognition.

Maybe to be head of the POL movement or Leader of the Taliban but not for president

He is far more trustworthy than McCain which has changes his tactics every other day on the campaign trail.

Hell no.
People who buy into his 250k cap on tax breaks are going to be surprised. Lately he has been calling it a 200k cap, and Joe Biden dropped it down to 150k.
Pretty soon it will be 50k when its all said and done.
