Assuming Obama is President what changes would you like to see made in the next 4 years?

1. We need to restore our Constitution! This is what our Country is based on. The GOP & the Bush Administration have destroyed the Constitution and ever Constitutional and Civil right we had. The only rights still intact is the right to bear arms and the right to NOT have to house a soldier during war time! Pretty Sad. People fought and died for our rights and we threw them away because we allowed our Representatives vote for the Patriot Act without bothering to even read it. We then allowed the Bush Administration to break laws without consequences.

2. We need to give President Obama the support to fix our economy. He was handed a huge mess. We ran up the Country's credit card by charging the cost of the war and the tax breaks for the rich on the Government Credit Card by borrowing from China and India. To repay our debt, many actions will have to be taken to pay the money back. By allowing the debt to rise uncontrolled we destroyed the value of our dollar which in turn ruined the economy. Not all the things he has to do will be popular but if we do not take responsibility for paying off the debt the Republicans and Bush ran up, our Country will fall even further into an economic abyss.

3. We must fix the health care system and the pharmaceutical system. They have both spun out of control by insurance companies making all the money and the drug companies coming in second. The insurance companies have been practicing medicine by dictating what procedures will be covered whether the Doctor ordered the procedure or not! We need to negotiate what the pharmaceutical companies can charge for medications.

4. Since the Democrats now have control we need to Amend our Constitution so no future Administration can break the laws and ignore the Constitution as the last Administration did. We need to enforce the checks and balances system. This way we will not end up with another Administration that ignores the Constitution, Civil Rights, Constitutional Rights as well as Ethical considerations!

After these items there are tons of other to take on but these are the most important.

I'm type 2 Diabetic, and we seem to have the same point of vue Every thing that you have mentioned I agree with and you sed it all.We do need to get our Medical community to stop scheduling and selling us tests that are not necessary.This happened to me.I pinched a toe off and they insisted on x-raying my chest.Then they x-rayed my foot before they looked at it.As I sat in the E.R.for 2 hours they came and told me my chest x-ray was cir.I asked them about my toe,and they looked at me puzzled and then they looked at my foot and asked, has this been x-rayed?Then they went looking for the x-ray of my foot.When they came back they sed, we can't see no brakes in the bones of your foot but you are missing a toe.Then the Dr saw I had a make shift bandage on what was left of my toe.He rebandaged my toe wrote me a perception and scheduled me for surgery in 4 days.After the surgery on my toe they sed I needed a C.T. scan of my chest.After the scan they told me my chest was klir.But I needed prosthetic shoe made for my little toe.Knowing this was bull I did not get it.My cozen was missing all but the big toe on hes foot and did fine for 20 years.

I would like to see English established as our National language. I would like to see the fence along the southern border. I would like to see the dissolution of the BRAC. I would like to see the military strengthened and the Governments of Iraq and Afghanistan stabilized to the point that they can maintain order once USA troops leave. I would like to see trade rules strengthened and more restrictions placed on foreign ownership of American Corporations. I would like to see tax breaks for people that take actions that improve energy independence in any industry. I would like to see the Supreme Court revisit the issue of prayer in schools. I would like to see the Congress repeal HR 1955 and the Senate remove S. 1959 from consideration. I would like to see our federal legislators be true to their oaths of office and protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Sadly i feel all these positions are in direct opposition to BHO's positions and we are in for dark times if Obama wins.

If Obama gets elected, I hope that he appoints one, two, three, maybe four or even give Supreme Court Justices who all interpret the Constitution as objectively as did the late Justice Hugo Black.

GITMO closed on day 1 and the Bush cabal imprisoned.

My Constitutional and civil rights restored.

A different President before he does irreversible damage.
