are neck tattoos painful at all?

Yes! I have alot of tattoos in various places and the only one that hurt like hell was the one that I got on the back of my neck it hurt so bad I thought that I was gonna pass out!! Also the healing time is horrible! It leaks plasma and ink and it stains the back of your shirt and almost always you have to have a touch up because since you move your neck alot the scabs keep lifting so the ink doesnt stay as well as it usually does in other places

All tattoos hurt but some more than others.Your neck will hurt a bit because you've alot of bone there,but the level of pain will depend on the size of the tat and if there is alot of shading on it.

Everyone is different some say it kills others like myself say it was not bad at all..It was an almost a 2 hour tattoo on the side of my neck,it tickled till the last 10Min's when it got really tender but it was one of my least painful tattoos and here's a pick f it,it's a Neko cat (Japanese lucky cat)

If other tattoos are painful a neck tattoo will be painful too.

Yes, neck tattoos are not much fun.

I've got one on the back of my neck. It didn't hurt any more than any other the others I have. The healing part was a little more painful, because of movement in that location.

Extremely so. Not for a first timer unless you can handle pain. Back of neck not too bad. Side, front, under ear.. unbearable for a first timer.

um.. tattoos itslef is painful- a needle dotting you at once while putting ink on you- yeah cherry on a sundade.

a neck one is a killer. it is one heck of a niagra walls. my gosh! i have tattoos which all my friends think is real b.c i lied and told em its real- its washable ones
