I usually play WoW and although i have low frame rates at some times i generally have a smooth experience. Just bought Fallout3 for PC and it runs. plays good... i just know i'm not running at optimal performance.
I want to get the 9800gt, however I am concerned with my PSU. I have just the hardware above installed (floppy as well). Wondering if 450 watts is going to be sufficient. I have read that 450 is min, others have stated 600w+ on into 700w range is needed. I think the latter is a little overkill, however If you can provide some insight that would be much appreciated.

Well, to be honest, the common quad core system with an nVidia GeForce 9800GTX runs at about 300W on max output.
So there's a chance your PSU can take it. The problem is we don't know your PSU's 12v amps. If they have enough amps on the 12v, good, if not, well, it won't work.
I have a PSU that only runs on 300W yet it runs my Athlon64 X2 6400 with a Radeon 4850. But because it has about 32amps on the 12v rails.

I would get a 600 watt or higher one.
