Why vote for McCain? What is wrong with you people?
I have noticed on some questions that ask who you would vote for that the majority of US people have picked McCain whereas those who admit they don't live in the USA have picked Obama? After all of the destruction caused by George Bush another Republican they are willing to hand the reins of the country over to another Republican. Unbelieveable! What in the world are you thinking? Do you really like the pain that America is feeling right now?

You have no idea what you are talking about. For one thing John McCain is not George Bush they are nothing alike. McCain has always been much more of a centrist who frankly many republicans don't like because they consider him a liberal republican. And why would we turn the country over to Obama? He has ZERO experience to go on. He is a smooth talking lawyer that can make people that can't think for themselves believe anything.
Why would I vote for higher taxes in a bad economy? that is a sure fire way to bring it down even further
Why would I vote to let government take over health care and run the quality of care into the ground like the rest of their programs? I agree health care needs reform but NOT government control
Why should I vote to hand over my handgun in violation of my rights?
Why should I vote for someone who does not understand energy independence and thinks we can flip a switch and bridget he gap between foreign oil and alternatives?
Why should I vote to "spread the wealth"? the "rich" already pay the majority of taxes in this country. If you tax them and their corporations even more they will move overseas without a doubt.
Why should I vote for a premature drop dead date for leaving Iraq? Do you not think they will just lie back and way for the date to come?
I will agree Bush screwed things up and is a huge disappointment but most of it had to do with him and a few of his top advisors going totally against republican ideals and principles. I am voting for McCain to hopefully bring that back. There is nothing for me on the democratic side of the ticket.

1st McCain has a wealth of knowledge on working with BOTH parties to get things changed in DC.
2nd Bush & McCain are not identical twins. Perhaps You should see what Bush said of McCain's positions during the 2000 elections.
3rd Obama has not authored any meaningful legislation. His time in the US Senate has been sparse, having spent the bulk of it running for President.
And LASTLY What has Obama done to encourage unity? Does he not say one thing in one place, and then another in another place? Does he not associate with whomever can aid his political career regardless of what hate spews from their mouths (Rev Wright) or anti-American activities (Ayers).
Perhaps Obama has said what you desire hearing, and you have embraced his rhetoric as gospel, but you may wake up one morning and wonder how has America been altered into a socialistic nation under Obama?
Or how is it that Obama now embraces the rhetoric of the Muslims at the detriment of safeguarding Israel.
No, I do not really like the pain America is in right now. I have lost 23% of my 401K plan and can only wonder if it will still exist when I want to retire. But there is nothing Obama wants to do that will really be able to safeguard us from financial leaches in this world.

First of all. Glad to hear the stats about McCain voters Second, For my self. I'm voting for less government, more rights, and freedom. Liberals are giving away my rights at a scary rate. Free will is a joke. The only thing you're free to do is pay taxes. Obama might not be a "Socialist" (Yeah right) but he will hurt this country. He will weaken the American spirit and ruin all that is good about being American. All by forcing government programs down our throat. While making Americans softer and lazier, more dependent on government. Liberals disgust me.

The Destruction leveled by Bush is nothing compared to the destruction leveled against innocent people worldwide by Al Qaeda and its allies. Why would anyone vote for Obama? He has demonstrated over and over and over and over again his ineptitude and lack of experience. He even said his plans would force the coal industry into bankruptcy and Americans would just have the adapt to "save the environment." Wake up people! 70% of our electricity comes from coal and this will help the economy? He lied to the coal miners about protecting their jobs. He wants to have a national security force. The last time some one tried that it was in Germany in the 1930's. "Brown shirts,"Black Shirts," and Gestapo...Oh my.
These an a number of other previously tried failed policies are the reason I voted for MCcain. Do you honestly thing that just because he is the great Obama that failure will turn to success? BTW Bushes economic policies work; Mccain wants to do them WITHOUT the massive spending. The economic mess we are in was caused by Acorn using the CRA to force bad investments down the throats of the banks(via the courts), the Democrats under Clinton using the Justice Department and Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Maxine Waters claiming their was no crisis when Mccain and others tried to opposed them three years ago.

Tons of reasons why i wouldn't vote for Osama.
Oops Obama.
I want my grand children to have a country to live in.
Not something he's created.
"Don't worry sweetie, if Obama gets elected, he's just going to get shot anyway.."

I can't believe that people are willingly voting for McCain/Palin. But then, I actually took the time to learn the facts, watch shows, read articles, research question. People are sheep, I didn't believe it before; But with all the support for McCain, I believe it now.
Voted Obama. Husband Voted Obama. Family and Friends voted Obama. '08

A vote for McCain is NOT a vote for Obama. Obama is an ultra liberal that will control the entire government due to the majority in Congress. He will have the opportunity to lead Congress in making any change to our freedoms. This could include any change to the Constitution. Very dangerous. We need checks and balances.

Democrats caused the economy to tank. You put a democrat in office who's been talking about raising taxes for over a year and have a democrat majority congress, you'll be feeling the pain. You've just drank the kool-aid and believe everything is Bush's fault. Unfortunately we have a country full of people just like you.
This is all about being loved by the world, isn't it? I knew it. That's why our country would go bezerk and vote for someone with no experience, because the world wants him. Our country is over. Globalization killed it.
I have a thought for you, sir. Wouldn't it be nice if we could hatemonger on the Iranians and their population would be so gullible that they'd do whatever we wanted just so we'd love them?
The world just lost a superpower because Americans really are stupid. And everytime we vote, they'll go on what the nonAmericans want us to do. Thanks for clarifying that for me. I can now look for another country to live in .

"those who admit they don't live in the USA have picked Obama?"
They don't live here that is the point brain surgeon. If this country sucks so bad, go somewhere else, the whole world just sounds great to you so go try it out and get back to me on how that works out for you.
