What percentage of voters do you think mindlessly vote straight ticket?
Personally, I think it's a travesty that there's even the option of selecting, "all the Democrats please" or "all the Republicans please." Do people actually give up their right to think for themselves and select that option?
LOL! I never said I didn't think people shouldn't have the right to vote however they want to. However, mindlessly voting by party rather than by who's running, while is someone's right, is assinine. Obviously people have a party that they tend to agree with more than the others but each individual is VASTLY different.
Voting individually for everybody from one party is different from just mindlessly selecting "all the candidates from one party" option. How do you know that person running for the state school board in the party you like isn't a child molester? I guess the question is more related to wondering why people would vote for someone without researching who they're voting for.

I HATE that option!
My mom clicked all democrats and I made her change like 5 of the things back to republican, because we knew it wasn't right.

Would it matter anyhow? What if someone likes ALL the democrat options or ALL the republican options - they'd vote straight party anyhow.
I've only voted straight party once and it wasn't recently either. Some people in certain parties are just better than the other on their policies.

We have the right to vote however we want regardless of what you think.
