I'm confused about the Obama-haters...?
On one hand most are complaining that every Obama supporter elected him so he can give us handouts.
On the other hand they are complaining because he's going to tax us too much and they can't afford to raise a family.
I'm even reading people refer to Obama as half-white because the thought of the first black President is too much apparently for them.
But anyone with his skin color committing a crime or not being able to complete a sentence; wouldn't he just be black to you?

You're right, you are confused.
Most could care less about the color of his skin.
The first two don't actually make sense, the handouts and tax increases go hand in hand. Those of us who make a decent living will pay more taxes so those who don't work as hard can buy more cigarettes and beer (metaphorically speaking).
Don't come crying to us when your paycheck shrinks, we'll just say we told you so.

I agree with BlindGuy's response. People complain because they do not have the facts and the necessary details to understand. Most people just don't have the time, the resources or the focus to really look for the information.
I have black relatives and no matter how much "white" ancestry they have, they will still be perceived as "black."
I voted for Obama because of his platform and the platform of the Democratic Party. I don't agree entirely as I am a liberal and the current Democratic Party is far from liberal.
I had planned to leave the Democratic Party if McCain won this election but now I can stay and try to work from within to return the party to it's progressive roots.

Well since you severly misunderstand the point. You said it yourself, he will give people handouts by redistributing the taxes that he will raise on people. You keep saying "on the other hand" but your first and second points are part of each other, not an "on the other hand" point of view. Like people have said a million times, NO ONE CARES ABOUT HIS COLOR, AND IF THEY DO, THEN THEY ARE RACIST. The only people who keep bringing up race are his supporters, even after he wins the election, go figure!
Your little "conclusion" hold no value because for one, read above, RACE DOESN'T MATTER to most of us, the content of the individual does; second it's a fact that blacks commit more crimes than any other race in the US:
Homicide is the leading cause of death for African American males aged 15-34. In the year 2005 the Black homicide victimization rate was 6 times higher than the rate for Whites at 20.6 per 100,000, with 94% of black homicide victims being killed by a black offender. Wikipedia
Blacks make up 13% of the US however they make up 50% of the jail population.
So is he just a "black" to me, no, he is a teleprompter and a marketing campaign. People will catch on after a few years of his failed policies.

President Obama!!!
Yes, we did it!
Just so you know I was at the rally in Tampa and there where more whites than blacks. It may not be like this in other areas of the country but from the pictures I've seen it looked like it was.
I'd say as many IF not more whites voted for Obama as blacks here in Florida.
(Reality check)He is half white, his mom was white but your right some people only see the color of one's skin before making assumptions. That shapes who you become, it's not fair but it's how things have been.. let's hope this is a sign that the change has begun.
I'm just glad the best person to be President (man, woman, black or white) won.
Source(s): Obama's March 18 speech on Race in America. "I chose to run for the presidency at this moment in history because I believe deeply that we cannot solve the challenges of our time unless we solve them together - unless we perfect our union by understanding that we may have different stories, but we hold common hopes; that we may not look the same and we may not have come from the same place, but we all want to move in the same direction - towards a better future for our children and our grandchildren." - How do you think about the answers? Obama won because he of his race!
Not because he is qualified to lead our Country!
Look at the 1st OJ case .....Not Guilty? We all know he was Guilty his own race believes and joke about that. He was not convicted because of his race. However it took a few years for that fiasco to come to reality in their communities.
The only winner is the MEDIA! The Rich get Richer, producers, movies, TV, radio, etc. Who do you think makes all the money off the advertizing? Look what Obama spent to buy the election.
Listen to what people are saying. They are NOT focusing on a changing economy, which was Suppose to be the focus. They are commenting on RACE. We know his race but that is not the issue the issue is the economy at least that has been Obama’s Political stand for 2 years.
What is even more interesting is nobody seems to look at Biden! You thought Cheney was dangerous?
All in All Obama is the President Elect and I well stand beside my president and country as I have in the past. There is no other country that gives the freedoms and opportunity’s it does.
If there are people out there that think any less of AMERICA than go live in another country that does give you more freedom and opportunity’s and take all the illegal aliens with you.

See, what you didn't understand is that Obama will tax some people so he can hand out that money to other people. When there are 5 wolves and a sheep, democracy is great unless you are the sheep. So, as long as there are more lower-income earners than higher-income earners, the lower-income earners can always vote themselves a hand-out from money earned by the higher-income people. That's how vote-buying works. In class warfare, a candidate needs to keep the people poor because it is much easier to be poor than it is to be rich and envy is your friend.
There are bigots in this country who cannot accept that we have a black president elect. But, I will guarantee you that these are a very small minority. I truly believe there are more black bigots than there are white. Both my husband and I have experienced racism first-hand. I'm Asian, he's white - both lost our jobs because our bosses were black. In his case, the boss replaced all the white contractors with blacks, I kid you not. In my case, there was a lay-off and none of the blacks lost their jobs (even the under-achievers). C'est la vie. It doesn't matter to me. They will mature eventually.

Criminals and illiteracy do not have a skin color. It is just blacks are more often illiterate and criminals.
"On one hand most are complaining that every Obama supporter elected him so he can give us handouts.

It depends on what income level you are on. Think about it.

Obama and his human beings (the dems) are fairly hyper delicate, to an volume which has by no potential ever been seen till now in a POTUS. Even the lib media (Wash placed up, NBC...) has taken pictures at him for his infantile stance against Fox. FOX does not develop race and neither has Obama so some distance. that's the only factor the dems can arise with via fact there is not any honest comeback from those with valid questions appropriate to the presidency as Fox has.

Obama is biracial. He's half-white, half-black. I don't think that people referring to him as half-white means that the thought of a black president is "too much for them," it may simply be that they are being accurate and clear. Obama is as much white as he is black, genetically speaking: what makes him "black" as opposed to "white" is social. His skin color, along with some of his physical features, means that people have always treated him like they would a man who is completely African-American (although most African-Americans still have a significant amount of white ancestry that hails back to the era of slavery in America).
The truth is that yes, Obama IS black, but his victory is not nearly as significant as the victory that will eventually be won by the first President-elect who is actually descended from slaves.

I'm a McCain supporter, but I am not a Obama hater...
I am happy to see a black man be President, but I don't believe it should of been him. The only change that has happened and will happened is that the US has a black man as President. He can't keep or accomplish all his promises with the little experience he has. And not only his low experience is going to keep him from accomplishing them, is that fact that is not all about him up in Senate...
I hope good things happen for the next 4 or maybe 8 years.

I'm from the south so apparently I am a hick. I I don't think he is white bc i can't deal with a black president, more bc he thought weezy was of off Samford and Son. Either way, to each his own! Lets see what he can do.
