Revelations tells us the 'beast' will be allowed 42 months of power so I'm guessing Obummer will be impeached or incapacitated before his first term is up.

Here's the rundown: he gets sworn in 1/20/2009 right?! He'll spend the first 6 to 8 months putting together a plan to fix this economy. 18 months down the road that plan will be introduced and set into motion in stages ( over a period of time ), because the economy is too far gone to fix it overnight. He'll also put together a plan to bring home the troops to focus on the real threats to the U.S. Afghanistan, Iran, North Korea, etc.
I do believe he will serve two terms because:
1. there isn't another candidate strong enough to win in the other parties.
2. America needs a candidate that's going to take care of home as well as the needs of others around the world.

It will depend a lot on some things he may not be able to fix, like the mess ol' George left us. But he is not wasting any time getting his cabinet together and I think he is going to hit the ground running when he gets in. I think this will be the first president who will be remembered for what he did in his first 10 days in office much less his first 100. I don't think he will be taking 96 days off in the first year of his term like SOME presidents have.
Obama is bright enough to know he needs to form a bipartisan government in order to get things done. If he successful, he will gain just a few more seats in the mid-term election and then he can really play his hand. Don't forget Obama is a poker player. McCain played craps.

Yea, I really think so. I guarantee his first term he is going to sweep the middle class of there feet and just give them everything. At the same time of course he will be helping to pass all types of laws that promote socialism that we probably won't see the effects of until year 6 or 7 of his administration. Shorty after that all hell is going to break loose, and we will end up worse than we are now.
He has already said certain things referring to the fact that he doesn't think he is going to be able to correct the govt until his second term. For example he said we may not correct this in one month or one term in one of his recent speeches. hmmm

I think he is the biggest Bullsh#% Artist of all time but I HOPE SO. To do this he will have to prove that he isn't the biggest failure ever in his first 4 years and get re-elected. Most of his lame ideas and rhetoric would actually have to work. In this case I would gladly be proven wrong.

I pray to God not
in just a few years everyone will realize their mistake and if he's not impeached, the race card cant be pulled twice.
thats they only reason he won.
you want equality?

ha ha ha, that's funny. It's our turn to piss you guys off and blame everything on you, and your President.
Seriously though a lot of people don't think he will make it long, he's gonna screw up. You guys always do, anytime you try and run anything it is a mess. Look at Mayor Coleman in Ohio, crime runs rampid there, the place looks like Beirut. The Blacks run the schools too, and it is all screwed up.
The best behaving blacks our in the south, the city is not good for you.
Source(s): My little blond brain. I know you want to delet me, but It was worth it, I had fun saying it. You guys do say whatever the heck you want don't yah?. - Anonymous1 decade ago
It will depend on his job performance. If he doesn't come through on his campaign promises. I don't think he'll have an easy go at re-election.
American's are not very patient people these days. If they don't see something being done to help the country and the people they will definately fire him.
