Republicans...At least give the guy a chance?
I've got no problem with people hating our president but shouldn't you at least wait until he actually DOES something instead of hating the guy before he's even sworn in? Now if in a couple years we get even worse...then hate away, I just might join you. But it makes no sense now.
I should specify I meant the trolling republicans =p

happy tree friends would say, they both bleed red. i say, the are both human, they are both good citizens, they would be good presidents. im not in it for the whole change thing because probably 50% dont even understand what change he's gonna bring. i wasnt for mccain or obama. i wanted the man with better character and i think its obama.

He will get the chance but most people already know what he stands for and for the most part it is not good. His actions in this regard will determine what the course of the country is. If he takes away rights, he has sealed his fate. If he re-thinks his course and realizes that his ideas are against the fate of the country, he has a chance to survive.
I doubt he is man enough to stand against the evil forces of the world. He has already "changed" his position so many times under pressure and even less showed up for work when elected in Illinois, I do not see good things happening. More chaos for sure because democrats have so many different ideas on how to proceed. They never agree on anything within their own party. Good luck anyways.
I just hope American people have the sense to wake up one day when it is going so bad, if it does, and say to themselves...this was a mistake and the error needs to be corrected. That's all I wish...give him a chance but then let common sense take over afterward. No excuses.

First..Bush wasn't even in office and the Dems were screaming he was evil..They still regurgitate the debacle of the 2000 elections. And..for any of you that can't CLEARLY remember go to Wikipedia to see how that was all resolved. Idiots not knowing how to cast ballots in the first place in democrat precincts with democrats doing the counting.
Second..Over the past eight years Dems have demonized Bush relentlessly attacking him. Sure..he made some mistakes but don't you dare say the war was one of them. He followed the advice of the military all the way. WE were attacked on 9/11. 85% of the military voted for McCain (also Bush). Why is that?
I hope to God I am wrong about Obama..because if I'm right and history repeats itself...This country is doomed.
PS Conservatives aren't the only ones scared to death of what he's going to do. I know of a lot of Dems that didn't vote for him either.

I am a straight Republican ticker voter and did not cast my vote for Obama, but now that he is President-elect and will be the new Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces I will sustain and support him in accordance with my Church's 12th Article of Faith, which states:
"We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law."
Bear in mind . . . much of the opposition to my democratic beliefs will be in the House of Representatives, ala Nancy Pelosi and Barney Frank.
I have faith that Obama has our nation's best interests to heart, but he will have to prove it in the term that lies ahead. He will have many challenges that will confront him starting 20 January 2009, such as Iran's requests and Russia's aggressiveness.
I pray that the Lord will inspire and direct his actions to the betterment of America.

Why should Republicans give Obummer a chance when Democrats didn't give McCain a chance? McCain ISN'T Bush anymore than Obomba is Rev.Wright.

Do you really think that there would be a better response to this phony you dummies voted in?
NO experience,a socialist, not even a natural born citizen. Why should we have to endure an attack from his friends who he's in bed with?
America should not have a pacifist at the helm at this time.

WHY SHOULD I TOLERATE SOME SOCIALIST WHO WANTS TO TAKE FROM THE RICH AND GIVE TO THE POOR AND RUIN OUR ECONOMY AND RAISE OUR TAXES AND TAX SMALL BUSINESS SO THEY EVENTUALLY GO OUT OF BUSINESS AND GIVE ILLEGAL ALIENS DRIVERS LICENSE?
If john McCain would have won, all the democrats would be having field day. I won't give any extreme leftists like nobama a chance when I'm against everything he stands for.

Your absolutely right and you bet your butt that I will jump on him the second he screws up.
If he does well then it's ok cause everybody wins
It was easy to put Bush's face to the screw up's of the past two years rather than put a face to a democrat majority congress.
Dem's have the upper hand now so they have no one else to blame

You don't have to mean just 'trolling republicans', I know more than one lifelong democrats who don't like Obama and think he's the worst thing to ever happen.
Personally, I think he promised too much, will do too little and give liberals a bad name.

I do have a problem with people hating the President. And I certainly will "give" Obama a chance. I don't have a choice about that, do I? He won the election.
However, he does have a little bit of a record behind him, and I don't like a lot of what's in it. I'm hoping he's a fast learner and will do a better job than I expect. But I'm not counting on it.
