tonsil stones related to cold and winter?

So about a month ago I started noticing that it felt like i had food caught in the back of my throat, it was driving me nuts so i poked around and managed to dislodge this icky little thing from my tonsils, after researching i'm guessing it's a tonsil stone, i've since had them on and off for the past couple of weeks, usually with one showing up every few days. I'm wondering if this could be related to the fact that I work in a nasty moldy old office building and my nose is constantly stuffed up. I've never gotten these before now and i'm hoping this is something that can be cleared up, because this would be a pain in the butt to have to dig icky bitlets out of my throat forever. Any suggestions, tips, help, ideas? Will it clear up if i manage to clear up my mini-cold/stuffy nose issues?

I get those..I got my first one last December, so yes, I think they are related to winter and cold season. Hence, I think they have to do with post-nasal drip maybe? It sucks because there isn't much info about them on the net, except for people's blurbs about getting them.. Doctors don't seem to know much about them, creepy huh? Personally, I take mine out with a Q-tip that has the puff ripped off, and I usually dip it in mouthwash as an antiseptic. I've heard that getting your tonsils out gets rid of them, but I've heard mixed reviews with that..I've read about people who felt great after having them taken out, but then I've heard people get sick more often after they're out. Remember, your tonsils are part of your lymph system, which helps you fight disease. So the choice is yours. I haven't gone to the doctor for my tonsiliths(that's their other name) because I've gotten used to getting them every once in a while. Hope I helped.

"Long Cold Winter" by Cinderella. It's a nice, slow blues tune. If I could copy and paste at the moment, I'd post the link....but I can't right now--sorry about that. BQ: Nope. BQ2: It's not that the world is supposed to end on December 21st but, instead, some people speculate that it might end that day. That's something that I refer to as nonsense.

Once your tonsils start developing stones, you probably need to have them taken out. I think you need to see a Doctor!
