How do I get a school kid from Peru as an exchange student in my home?

The local church extends ministry to kids in Peru. I think it would be a better use fo the funds, if we mean to improve their lives and their community, to bring kids *here* and get them a decent education. After all, what is one more to most families?

I have no idea, and I mean *no* idea how to get the paperwork to allow this to happen... If you have good references or personal experinece of this sort of thing, I would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

Update:

The reason we have to go to these places year after year, generation after generation, to provide medical care and expertise in everything from sanitary wells to sanitary sewer is that the people there do not have enough education to do it for themselves. It seems good to me to give people better options than depending on charity forever.

That's a bad idea - a Peruvian kid will eat your guinea pig.

Umm depending how old you are that seems impossible. You would not want a stranger living with you, especially if you like having privacy, think it over.
