Do you think the contractor that found 182,000 inside a customers bathroom walls deserves a equal share?

A hired contractor found 182,000 inside the bathroom walls of a house. He felt he should get 40% of it $72,800. The owner offered 10% $18,200. What about the heirs of the person that put it there? Do they deserve anything or should it all go to the current homeowner?

No. It was not his money, and he was just doing a job which he

    was being paid for.

If you asked if the householder or heirs should feel morally obliged to

reward him for finding money they didn't know they had, my

    answer would be intirely different.

    (Subtle difference).

A bit of common sense and fair play should play a big part.

And how many contractors nowadays would report the find?

    Interesting story which I missed!

that's called greed. for sure, all of us needs a decrease of money nicely worth $182,000! because of the fact it replaced into discovered interior the residing house, the home proprietor is probably legally entitled to it. the object says Kitts thinks the money ought to be his, or a minimum of shared, then turns around and says his criminal expert drafted a lawsuit for her to tutor over all the money! humorous how greed impacts some human beings. Too undesirable they could no longer conform to share, I propose, 0.5 of the money isn't something to sneeze at the two. the two events are grasping. Greed, the muse of all evil!

why does he deserve it? it wasn't his home, therefore, it wasn't his money. why should he be concerned with the money? it's not his to make the call on! them giving him part of the money is better than getting none at all!
