Will you watch the Homestead race?

The season has been sooo boring. I thought there might be some excitement today - like last week, when Johnson had trouble. But no, it was the Jimmy Johnson Parade - again.

I like the guy... I really do. But the races are just so boring now. The chances that he will not win are so slim - I'm a 15 year NASCAR fan, but I'm probably sitting this one out.

And you??

Update:

I'm impressed - so many loyal fans. I am excited for Johnson and his 3 in a row - who wouldn't. It is an awesome feat - especially with the chase format. I'll be there for the trucks and Nationwide series for sure.

I'm a Stewart fan - will be watching his last #20 race for sure. Just not sure that I want to plan on giving up ALL of my Sunday to fall asleep on the couch - if you know what I mean. Just seems like the COT has made the "racing" dull.

Thanks for all the answers. Again, I'm impressed with all of the hard core fans.

Yes I will watch the races at Homestead this coming weekend. I will watch all three of the top Nascar divisions.(Trucks, Nationwide & Sprint cup). Two of the three shouldl be great races.

I try and get all my chores done through the week so I can watch everything that's on each weekend. This week end I watched the Truck race , The Allstar race, The Pit Stop Competition, Moto GP, Both days of Indy Qualifying, Aussie Super Cars and an ARCA race and still had time to go to a local short track and crew a late model on Saturday night. Gotta go Wind Tunnel is on LOL Next week end is going to be Killer. Oh I forgot I watched the Nationwide race too.

Boring? No way! I'm sorry you feel that way, maybe because your a Stewart fan you were so bored. I'm a big time 48 fan and I loved this season as I do all of them (some more that others) I will be sitting right in front of that big ole TV waiting to see Jimmie Johnson win his

    "3 straight in 08") Yeah!!!!

    GO 48 GO!

I will always pick to watch a race, even if just to root for someone's downfall. You never know when something brand new and exciting is going to happen, say like driving up under a car. I encourage you to watch History unfold as it will no doubt do this friday, saturday and sunday in Homestead. It's the last race of the season and youve been a fan for 15 years, whats one more race?

I'll watch the truck race every minute of it. But, I will admit I will channel surf during the nationwide race and watch it if its close and interesting, but I hate this stupid chase, Look how great the Truck series is and yes NO F'G chase.. I will watch the Cup race with everyone at my place all 21 of us next Sunday, but if Jimmie clinches in the first 100 laps, we are watching football...THE CHASE SUX. I've been a Nascar fan for over 40 yrs, Dump the chase I do not need a Hollywood version of Na$car,.Real men do not need this type of a format to win races.

Go Dale Jr & Hms (& may 2009 be a better and closer real racing season)

I will watch it eventhough I don't want to. But seeing Tony have his last race with JGR is gonna be a very bittersweet moment. So that's one of the reasons I'll be watching it. And also watching my other favorite drivers hopefully have great finishes is another reason I"ll be watching it. It's the last race of the season so it's pretty much a HAVE TO WATCH IT. It'd be great to see Jimmie have a DNF. So Carl can win the championship. Hopefully. Anything can happen. Let's leave it at that. If Jimmie wins I won't be watching him celebrate that's for sure.

  • I think the season has been great for the most part! and I will definitely be watching the Homestead race besides for the excitement I've got to get in my last Nascar fix for the season! before the withdrawals kick in LOL!

Yes, I'll be watching the race. I'm hoping for Jeff Gordon to win one. I realize that is probably wishful thinking, but that would be a great end of the season (at least it would be for the 24 fans).

I'm watching but I am a JImmie Johnson fan. I understand that it can be boring watching him win and closing in on his third championship. However, I do not see a serious threat as long as him and Chad Knaus are together. Jimmie is a great driver (right there with Gordon and Bush) the one thing that seperates him though, is the crew chief and team. The combonation is unstoppable.

I am watching the race.I would watch it even if Jimmie didn't have the advantage.I love NASCAR and Homestead will be the last race I will get to see until February!!! :(

I think some of the season has been boring, but you can't very well blame it on Jimmie. The COT is what ruins the bulk of the races.
