Why is that most all daughter n laws hate their mother n laws?

Because they think they are in competition with each other. It takes time and work to have a healthy relationship with your MIL. I have been married for 14 yrs and it took about 5 years for us to work out a good relationship for BOTH of us, but it is well worth it. My MIL and I talk more than she does with my husband (her son) and I love it.

They feel they have to compete with them to obtain equal love from their Husbands?

They feel superior and that the only person that matters to their Husband should be them not the Mothers?

They just don't want to deal with the Mother In Law since the Husband is already enough work?

Or maybe it's the Mother In Law that hates the Daughter In Law and has good valid reasons for it so in turn the Daughter In Law hates the Mother In Law for it?

I wouldn't really know since I love my Mother In Law as my own and we get along great. We actually have a relationship compared to a relationship with my own Mother. She is tolerable and reasonable and we click just fine. I am glad to have such an understanding and caring Mother In Law.

It all depends how good the relationship is, if it is not stable then something can be done about it.We should love and care for one another so why must there be hatred by the way this is a sin and we as an individual should see it and confess.

I have no idea why and hate is a strong word....maybe they feel they are in competition with the mother in law... so juvenile isn't it? your the wife, she's the mother of your hubby..get over it is what I say to all the mother inlaw haters

i don't really know it may be a jealousy thing or competition like who's casserole is better and so on but personally my mother in law likes me better than her son, really she calls me everyday

Since hatred is a choice then she'll make a mockery of herself until she decides to put a stop to her own hatred.
