witches and witchcraft, wiccan ways?

The label Witch is the invention of the Christians. Though now, it has accrued honor because of many who have worn it proudly in adversity. What has always been is the crafts. Historically these have been many, but here are a few.

Dowsing

Midwifery

Healer

Bone setter

Herbalist

Maker of potions

Candle maker

Animal caller

Scientists

Teachers of philosophy

Psychic

Empath

Maker of poultices

Librarians

Finder of Ley Lines

All of those within the above crafts have been called witches by Christianity over the last five hunderd years and many executed for practicing their craft.

In this day of Neo reconstitutions the title Witch has incurred honor from the actions of many who use it as their own.

There are both Magick and practicals that work. I worked with both over 60 years.

When you hear someone say that they are practicing witches, I think they mean that they are active witches. I could be wrong since I am not aware on the views others have. There are many who state that they are practicing witches which means they are active (magickally). Why point it out? Because some witches are witches who do work with others but never alone. For whatever the reason, they choose to not practice magick on their own. I have a friend who has been wiccan for a few years and never did anything on her own without our coven.

Magick works ALL the time. You might not always see the rusults you expected, and it's not always in bad way. There are times when I do a money spell to get extra work, more hours, or just the opportunity to make money and instead of an actual opportunity or money, my needs are met by another means which makes my check more available to use how ever i need it.

So yes, it ALWAYS works for me. If it didn't, then i couldnt be able to offer it as a service lol.

Exactly what kind of magic(k) are you referring to Harry Potter, Charmed, etc are all fiction We can't do that sort of thing

XXXXX provided some excellent examples of what may be considered witchcraft. I am an empath and a diviner I can also communicate with animals I have never been bitten or stung by anything (other than mosquitoes and fire ants)

I know there are quite a few "real" witches and Wiccans who frequent Y/A and I know there are also quite a few who are honest in wanting to learn and there are a few pretenders.

I have been a Witch (Wiccan) for over 35 years. I belong to a family "Trad" and we call ourselves Witches or Wiccans. They are only names.

Every Witch or Wiccan is a practicing one. Once dedicating oneself to the Goddess, every moment of every day becomes the practice of ones spirituality. A Witch is always in touch with his/her spirituality, whether actively practicing rituals and/or magic or not.

Wicca is a religion so of course there is such a thing as Witches.

What do you perceive as "real"? If what you mean by real is what you see on tv, then no. Witchcraft that is shown on TV and on movies is not real. No one can do the things they do...that's the product of computer generated graphics. Magic takes time to manifest, and you cannot see the effect taking place. It takes patience and will to form a spell and get it to work

it is incredible how many human beings love what's evil and hate God. It merely proves the bible is sweet and the words of the Lord Jesus Christ will continually stand and can by no capacity get replaced or destroyed. i'm happy i'm on the winning area and devil does not have of undertaking. devil's ability isn't even a drop in the bucket whilst in comparison with the flexibility of JESUS!! till those whom practice witchcraft or the different satanic worship repent of their wickedness, they are going to somewhat burn in hell for ever, alongside with devil - Repent mutually as you have the possibility - Jesus loves you sufficient to ward off in case you repent: i will pontificate to the international no be counted if or no longer they like it or no longer - reject it or no longer - it somewhat is going to be stated. Yes witchcraft works or it would have faded out over the years. It does NOT work like on tv - its not all lightning bolts and big theatrics. Most often it is used as a psychological trigger.
