Hillary Clinton Secretary of State?

I think that would be amazing, but I'd rather see her as Senate Majority Leader and try for pres in 2012...this time I think she'd do it, against whoever the Repubs threw against her...what do you think?

I say HILLARY CLINTON 2012!!!

I want Obama again in 2012...and Hill will be over the Hill by then! 2016!!

    LOL!!

I have issues with family members of previous Presidents who think they have some moral right to the job.

America is not some inherited monarchy. It is a republic...one of the oldest democracies in the world...and thissort of nepotism has led to the W years...

Don't pass the Presidency down through families like it is an inherited right. .....let's give the new talent some room.

You know, Hillary was a real up and coming dem before she decided to hitch her wagon to Bill's star and back him.She had the opportunity early on to make a run at her own political career.

Well, she made that choice...to be First Lady...not try for President.

And maybe she has to live with the consequences of that!!

Democrats will run Obama in 2012 and as the incumbent President, unless he pulls a Jimmy Carter, he will win.

Hillary will not be Secretary of State under Obama. The second scenario is more plausable.

I would have voted for Hilary but I don't see Obama stepping down

unless he realy stinks up the place

Bill Clinton would make a great Sec of State and I concur..

leave Hilary in the Senate to boss eveyone around..she would be

    better then Nancy

I think HRC need to stay in the senate. Her biggest impediment is Bill. No I don't see her in 2012. She would be running against a sitting Dem. Prez and the party would not go for it. I say, stay in the senate make her mark there and then go for the first Supreme Court appointment.

I think she would do well as Secretary of State. Forget a run in 2012 against Obama. She will likely have to wait until 2016. Running against the incumbent from your own party is not usually a successful gambit.

I would have voted for Hilary for president, and I was with her until she started lying about being on the "front lines' in Bosnia and all her negative digs at Obama. The one thing I liked about the Obama campaign is that they didn't attack their opponents. I believe that instead of trying to make yourself look good by making others look bad, she should have been telling the American people what she would do for us as president and she should have run an honest, clean campain. With that said, I do believe that she cares about Americans, I believe that she wants to see a brighter future where all people, especially children, have affordable heath care. Perhaps as Secretary of State, she can still have an hand in seeing that "dream" come to fruition. She'd get my vote (if voting was necessary).

No. Secretary of state may go to someone else like John Kerry. I heard he was on the list of individuals likely to get that job. Kerry and Obama agree on more issues, and Hilary doesn't look like she would be fit for an Obama administration. They just disagree on too much. I think she may run for president again, but I don't see her being on his staff. There is too much work to be done, and there is no time for bickering. Hilary isn't that bad of a person but they can't agree on much. Not this time around, but don't count her out in 2012.

First off, she can't run in 2012 when Obama's going to run for his second term.

And Hillary as Secretary of State is the BIGGEST joke I've heard lately. She was FIRST LADY!!! And only became NY senator to run for president! What experience does she have to be SOS? UGH!

Great, an inexperienced POTUS, and an inexperienced SOS, yeah we're going to do just great.

That would be a good choice. I still like Bill Richardson though but Clinton is a very smart lady.
