Who deserves ALL the blame for ALL of our country's woes?
In a country whose Primary Creed is "of, for and by the people", wouldn't that make our country's woes the American people's fault?
Hey! Don't blame me, I voted for McCain.

Well Trickle down economics didn't work for Bush, Reagan or Bush. So the answer is Bush and his Republican friends as well as all those who voted for him. I guess in a battle between economics, religion and anti-abortion as well as guns. Religion and guns won. It was a straw victory. Abortions are still legal. And what an expensive lesson it was.
What's really sad is how all these people professed such an overwhelming love for the country and looking at results I don't see a whole lot of love. Even now Republicans fail to accept responsibility blaming Clinton and even Carter. Carter hasn't been around for more than 20 years. That takes a lot of balls.

Well, if the PEOPLE could learn to spend more wisely and learn to save, if they would elect good leaders for a change, then there wouldnt be many problems. The people deserve every bit of the blame. Its their responsibility to select good government officials. If a government official gets in there and abuses his power, thats nobody's fault but the people who elected him to that office. They should have voted for a better man.

No one individual deserves all the blame. It is somewhat surprising however that the Republican Party which is supposedly the party of "personal responsibility" seems to try to avoid responsibility for anything. They were taking credit when they perceived things to be going well.
To some extent we are all responsible. Some of us are responsible for not yelling loud enough and others for refusing to listen at all.

I agree. I blame the Democratic majority led Congress that got control two years ago that the dumb liberal Democrat Americans voted into power, and the equally stupid liberal media, who fawned all over the president elect and brainwashed these soft headed, gullible, politically lazy and unsophisticted people into voting for him.

Everyone who has left the american ideals has contributed into the woes we now have.
When you misuse the military; its un-american
When you hate people because they are muslims: its un-american
When you use peoples money to benefit a loyal group: its un-american.
the last 8 years have seen a heavy share of these behaviours.

So many are to blame. The list goes back to Carter, then Clinton, and yep even Bush. Then there is Harry Reid, and that idiot Barney Frank in charge of finance, plus greedy lenders, and many money hungry jerks in the government. But I look at it this way, they will all be punished in the future, one way or the other for it is harder for a camel to go through an eye of a needle then it is for the rich to get to heaven.

There are good people and bad people. I think it is the people who start wars, who rape children and who steal....they have caused this world to be a sad place.

Six of one, 0.5 Dozen of the different. extra appropriate, it is not "God" as such, as i've got not got faith in any gods, this is faith. i think of many believers might certainly trust me in this paradoxically. EDIT: OURScott, "he's down-trodden adequate" LOL! I blame people who've positioned their faith in fake ideologies whether or no longer they be religious, financial, philosophical or regardless of.
