Can you fit extra PCI cards into Laptops?

Currently I use a desktop pc to record bands on, to get the sound into my computer I use an M audio Delta 66 interface, which is part jack input, and part PCI card.

However I would like to use a laptop instead, will there be room to put my PCI card in any standard laptop?

Thanks

Update:

Thanks for some replies, the problem with USB is that its never really zero latency. I dont want to patronise some of you but basically, when your recording live audio it needs to be in sync with the computer exactly.

You would of thought in this day an age there would be some kind of PCI expansion box but then I suppose you would need USB anyway! Thanks anyway guys I better stick to my PC!

unfortunately laptops dont have the PCI slots, but you may find better audio on a docking station. Simply check if your model of laptop has a docking station. Some of them have better audio that the laptops that are connected to them. I found this worked for me with my DELL laptop.

You can't use a desktop PCI card in a laptop. Your best bet is to get a USB version

Laptops can not fit PCI cards, try to find a USB or PCMCIA device instead.

you are able to't improve a computing device photos card in any respect, different than those that use a MXM slot. those that are completely integrated can't be desoldered as such (They use BGA chips fairly of pins).

Only if the laptop is top of the line.

    Most don't allow expansion.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL no, and you cant get a USB version of a graphics card... LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

You'll need to buy a new laptop of at least $1500. Good luck.
