Why are so many people shocked that Days of Our Lives is a real show?

Yes, I knew it was a real show. Probably because I watch it on and off. Most people who don't know that don't really watch soap operas so I can understand. When Joey was cast on it, that's what made it funny because it was a real show (on the same network). For me it wasn't a stretch. Jennifer Aniston's dad plays Victor Kiriakis (sp?).

How the hell do you not know that Days of our lives is real show. How the hell do you not know that Jennifer Aniston's dad plays Victor?

A lot of people don't watch soaps, that's why!! Most people work in the daytime and if they don't watch soaps they're not watching soapnet at night either!! If you watch soaps you at least know the names of others if you don't you don't have a clue!!

i know i guess it is cause they have never seen it befor and may have not heard of it i am guess it is a real show and a great one in my book love it alot.
