youse conspiracy theorists are too cheap to get a whole hat made out of aluminum. Everybody knows that the government does not allow companies to produce tinfoil of the required thickness to be effective.
I do have an aluminum hat made from about a quarter inch thick aluminum and I can't even start to tell you how much of a difference this makes.

Tin Foil Hat is a general term for a piece of headgear made from one or more sheets of tin foil, aluminium foil, or other similar material. Some people wear the hats in the belief that they act to shield the brain from such influences as electromagnetic fields, or against mind control and/or mind reading. The concept has become a popular stereotype and term of derision; in Internet culture, the phrase serves as a byword for paranoia.

Because its safe to say if you believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy and buy into it so easily (disputing overwhelming expert analysis to the contrary and instead opting to take the word of a 35 year old pothead living with his parents)...you probably believe that tin foil will protect you from whatever you need protection from.

Of course. Then you let the doubters wear the unfashionable pointed shiny hats when it hits the fan, so you can tell the johnny come latelys from the ones who always knew the deal.

No tin foil here!
I prefer to argue with the voices,
and sometimes you get a really good reception from across the world of a soccer match from some of those stray beams, easy highlights without having to turn on ESPN!

As long as you are taking the necessary precautions to stop the government (and its alien overlords) from reading your thoughts, then all is well.
