Do you usually buy a fake Christmas tree or real tree for x-mas?

REAL ALWAYS! The only time where my family ever used a fake tree was in Christmas 2006, we were going through some very rough times and couldn't afford a real one. I think fake trees are just stupid, "but there's no mess!", who cares if there's a mess? Unless you're allergic to them I think the experience of taking your family to a Christmas tree lot and searching for the perfect tree and keeping up with tradition makes up for any mess you may have. I love that feeling you get when the tree is up and has all the ornaments and lights on it and you can smell the pine.... it just feels cozy, like the feeling I get when I'm by a fireplace in the winter. I know if I have kids, even if fake trees are the biggest thing ever I am still going to get a real one just so they can have that experience.

I prefer a fake one even though a real one has a wonderful smell I rather not deal with having to water it and cleaning up the needles.Plus I set up my christmas village under my tree so the needles would fall all over it.

Real Christmas trees!

I prefer a real tree for CHRISTmas. We usually buy live ones in pots that we can plant after CHRISTmas. But last year and probably this year too, we have a fake one.

I use an artificial tree. I love the real ones, but I have a hard time decorating them as I have a skin allergy to the needles. One time, I broke out in welts all up and down my arms and hands after sticking my arms into the tree putting up the lights. I decided at that time I would just do the artificial ones to avoid the irritation.

REAL......always!!! Just LOVE the scent and the homey feeling it gives to all of our family at Christmas time.

Note: I tried a fake tree that someone gave to us...a huge tree it was! But, my kids boo-d it and hissed at it, so I figured I better rid of the fake one and get a real one again. That was 4 years ago that I got rid of it.

I prefer artificial trees. (Im on a hunt for one today) I like the smell of a real tree, but after a while the smell gives me a bad head ace.

We always have a fake one now due to my allergies..

and I love the prelit trees, we got a new huge one this year..the lights are so distributed around and in the branches....its like Grand Central Station.......

HAS TO BE FAKE, humans are a disgrace when it comes to having real trees, trees are beautiful and grow to over 20 foot and no i don't hug them, but to wrench it from the prime of its life is both cruel and disgusting.

We always use the same fake Christmas tree every year, it was my Grandma's.

A few years ago we got a real one though.
