A very eclectic mix of comic series is available at:

    http://comicsworld.wordpress.com/

It's a Dutch site, and has some wonderful Franco/Belgian series in the Dutch Comics section, such as Charlier and Giraud's (Moebius's) Lt. Blueberry and Luc Orient. It also has golden age classics and that short lived Thunder Agents series which features incredible work by Wally Wood.

I know this is not the place to recommend this but the range of material on the Pirate Bay in Norway is so broad, it certainly includes comics torrents which are copyright violations, but apparently also comics which are out of copyright. While I do not advocate copyright violation if you want to check it out, please do while it is still easy.

I believe there is also an alt.binary.pictures.comics newsgroup where people may or may not post things. Comics are all over the web. Have been since before there was one.

Source(s): I've been reading comics since about 1964 and been on the net since 1990. I've seen sites and files come and go.

I don't know a whole lot about them but I used to save them for a long time. I sold mine to a local collector , you know of those guys who buys everything, jewelry, gold comics. I ended up getting over $500.00 for mine but a while later, I began to wonder if there were any 1st issues in there or anything else of real value. Just BEWARE and know the real value before you turn lose of something that might be valuable. I would keep checking and searching things like comics, antiques etc. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!

I got all my old Batman comics at Isohunt. When I have cash, if they classics are to pricey, I can get them at a good prie at Mile High Comics.
