I have complete faith in Obama, that he knows exactly what he is doing. He is a very clever man and I can see that he is creating a very strong back up system for the Government under his Presidency.

I have no hesitation whatsoever, giving him his dues when it comes to changing things around for the States.

If he does put Hilary in as Secretary of State I bet that he has thoroughly thought every aspect of this situation over very careful, with his back up people. No, I do not think that it will create another Clinton White House, Obama is too intelligent and clever for that. Every move he makes will be done with much thought and input by those around him.

Have no fear - Obama's here.

I think Senator Clinton is very knowledgeable, is tough enough, works very hard, is very smart and quick, and especially during her time in the Senate has informed herself well on any subject she has worked on. I am a tad hesitant about her temperament, the way she comes off sometimes, but am willing to see how she does.

Looking at all the foreign relations and national security nominations President-Elect Obama made today; I'm very hopeful. This is one great team so far.

I never thought having Senator Clinton coming on as a member of the Cabinet would result in a "Clinton" White House; and today's announcements have only reinforced that perception for me.

I am glad that he picked Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. She's has political expertise, a tough hide, and plenty of intelligence. I believe Hillary will look out for the interests of the USA.

One thing that is going to come to light very shortly, is the fact that as a Senator, Hillary voted to increase the salary of the Secretary of State. According to Constitutional Law, she now cannot hold that office until her term as Senator is up. It will be interesting to see if anyone picks that up.

I don't think Obama is going to let Hillary be in charge of the White House. He is a strong willed person.

I feel pretty good about all of his choices, so far.

It's an uninspired choice. So much for bringing change to the White House.

<--- Currently in a 4-year state of denial.

He was elected on the promise of CHANGE.. so WHERE's the CHANGE? And this is not the ONLY NON-change appointment for him, either. For this, people could have voted for McCain.

    Have a Senior day.

This is Hillary: "Stupid me... and I'm your puppet on a string....I wish I could read your thoughts...the same old King...and I'm your puppet on a string, tell me what to do, I do anything for you...cause I'm your puppet on a string."

While Hillary is intelligent, my opinion: giving her the position of Secretary of State is like a cheating husband presenting his wife with a 4 carat diamond ring. The end result for the husband is divorce and large alimony payments. Obama keeps Hillary at arms length but she will keep the support of her constituents, is weak on foreign policy and it will backfire on Obama.

Payback for her and her supporters backing him in the Presidential election bid.

He promised change and he didn't lie. We changed right back to a Clinton administration. He hired back quite a few of the old Clintonistas in his admin.

Don't think Bill wont be pushing his way in with advice and trying to work up a winning Hillary run for 2012.

I think he is a very wise man. He surrounds himself with wise people and most importantly from what I read, he listens to them.

He ran a amazing campaign, so lets hope, he will do the same once he is in office.

I thought that one was a wise move. I think Barack will maintain control. I'm upset about him embracing Joe Lieberman. This man's already proved himself to be a back-stabber. The only reason I can think of to justify this is the saying, 'keep your friends close; and your enemies closer.'
