In your first pregnancy, how long before delivery did your baby drop?

I am 40 weeks and 1 day today. I would say she dropped at around 37 weeks or so? But like you said, that doesn't really mean anything in regards to labor.

With my daughter, I was at the doctor on Monday the 1st and had not dropped yet. Then I went in on the 7th and I had dropped. I knew it had just happened cause I also could breath that morning. The doctor did confirm that and I was dilated to a very slim 1 cm. The next morning my water broke and I had her 5 hours later.

This was my first child and I would say from the time I dropped to the time I had her was roughly 24 hours.

My baby never dropped believe it or not. He was big, 10 lbs. I started labor the night after my Dr. stripped my membranes. 2 days before my due date I had my son. Labor went quick up until the end where then he finally started moving down.

I never dropped! Went into labor at 39 weeks! Everyones different i guess.

i would say she dropped around 35-36 weeks. i didn't go into labor until 39 weeks after the doctor had stripped my membranes the day before.

I am jealous, it is also my first time and I am 37 weeks pregnant but the baby still hasn't dropped at all!
