How many channels are available on an ATSC tuner, and what FREQUENCY corresponds to each channel?

I am looking for a comprehensive listing of the new HDTV channels and the corresponding frequencies of each.

Are they all grouped in one large chunk of the spectrum, or are there multiple "bands" such as we now have with the NTSC broadcast channels?

Do all of the ATSC broadcast channels have the same bandwidth, or are there variations to allow for different content, complexity and / or quality?

Will some of the current frequencies be re-assigned to the new ATSC channels?

Thanks for your help.

The list of digital tv channels is at the site below. There are 68 channels, but each channel can transmit more than 1 signal. I receive 4 separate programs from the local PBS channel. Currently, the channels are designated as 107-1, 107-2, 107-3, 107-4 or similar. I think that will change when the switchover is complete.

The bands and frequenices are pretty much the same. Yes, some of the current frequencies will be used for ATSC.

Just to confuse the topic for you, I spoke to an engineer at the ABC station in Philly and he explained that part of the broadcast signal tells the ATSC tuners what channel number should be assigned, no matter where on the spectrum the station actually happens to be. His main channel is 6-1, but it is being broadcast way up in the top of the UHF range, higher than a lot of less important Philly stations. Even with half a million watts the signal does not carry as well as FOX29 or a lot of other stations that are using lower UHF frequencies. On Feb 17 everyone gets new frequencies, but the tuners will keep all the same channel numbers for the stations. Is that confusing or what?
