Well, if you want to get technical about it look at the actual definition of pedophile. Yes, Bella is a highschooler in this story, but she isn't a young child by the laws standards. She is 17 in the first book. That's the legal age of consent in my state. Also she is 18 in the other books - an adult. Yes, dating a 14 or even a 15 year old would be wrong, not to mention highly illegal, but Bella isn't 14 or 15. And yes morally it may be a sticky situation depending on your outlook, but it doesn’t make him a pedophile by any means.

On another note... Lets also not forget that this is a fictional book with fictional characters. Fictional supernatural characters at that. The usual rules don't apply to them in terms of aging. I agree with the others where his age is concerned. To me the author portrayed him as still being a seventeen year old in mindset. He isn't an old man out to entice young girls. He found one who is technically his age. In the world of fiction the author sets the rules. If she wants him to be seventeen forever then that's how it is.

He was 17 when he died. So he's always 17. The other age does not affect him biologically. It's just a number.

It's not just his looks. His body and mind functions like a (dead) 17 year old, though his experiences will add some maturity.

It honestly depends on your interpretation. He is 108 in my eyes, but to most people, and technically, he's 17 forever.

EDIT: To answer your other question, I personally think that Bella *technically* is a necrophiliac, because Edward is *technically* dead. But here's the funny thing. Because he moves, acts, and talks, he isn't actually dead. So the whole necrophiliac thing could also be argued.
