Any body know any Roller Derby girls personaly?

Yes we have several roller derby teams in our town. One of my graduate students from last year is on a team. My hubby and I have gone several times to see her play.Most of the team members are married and moms.

No, but I just found out yesterday that we have a Roller Derby team where I live. It's the Bradentucky Bombers (I think!). I had no idea. I haven't heard about Roller Derby in years, so I guess I'll have to check into this further.

No, I used to watch as a kid in So Cal but where I live now I don't think there is a team. How fun for you to know some of the girls!!

One of my acquaintances, a radio personality, knows some & has some on his show occasionally. it's an act like wrestling. etc. These people don't hate each other.
