Respect costs nothing, and that is the very least we can do for them. Thank you for putting your life on the line for mine. I don't think that this is nearly enough to show you the respect you deserve, but I will do things like this for the rest of my life to prove it to you! God Bless You!

Yes, respect is the least we can do for these great people.
I will always open the door for anyone in uniform or who I know protects me and my country.
We should all be extremely grateful to everyone who serves our country and is willing to put their lives on the line to keep us safe.
I live in So Cal. after the fires last year nobody in a fireman's uniform, national guard uniform, or anyone else who obviously helped protect our homes( most of which cost well over a million $) and our lives and animals(especially our horses) couldn't pay for their own meals, gas, or drinks from a store.
