What do monitors really record?

They monitor your vital signs so that they know when to turn the machine off.

It's like sleeping with the Road Runner (not that I have ever done that nor desire to do so)

You better get that checked...like CS said there must be a mute button because they are surely following the activity remotely....writing a poem to the rhythm is a great challenge...they let you use a laptop while those machines are on??

In some places they monitor lizards.

There is no arrhythmia in this offering...you can always ask the staff to put the monitor on silent mode...
