What is wrong with this picture???

In order to create jobs, Barack Obama wants to have the govt finance a massive repair job on the roads and highways of America. Why not just let the states keep the money and fund their own repairs????

    Become a truck driver and you can answer your own question. Many states do not care for their roads the way they should.

    I think the states repair state highways and the federal government repairs interstate highways.

    Why are you against job creation? People are hurting for work right now.

    Because they WERE supposed to have been doing that for the past 20 years. However, the infrastructure never quite got the money it was allocated. They needed it for schools and silly things like that (thank you ronald reagan).

    that's the way its suppose to be but he has to make sure it all goes to 1 big contractor so the unions are all set in there areas and no bad accidents happen to the local politicians in there states and other unpleasant things

    This is probably the only thing I agree with him on...

    --We defiantly need to make more infrastructure...maybe that will boast our economy enough so that will overthrow the socialism he's going to try to put in place of our failing economy.
