are you glad that Stephane Dion has stepped down?
Isn't it about time he admitted that he is not cut out to be a national leader?

Dion would lead the Liberal Party into a federal election on Oct. 14 against the incumbent Conservatives, but the fallout saw the Liberals garner their lowest popular vote support since 1984 at 26.2%. Though he had already announced his intention to resign, Dion would become the proposed leader of a coalition government formed between the Liberals and the NDP with support from the Bloc Quebecois on Dec. 1, 2008. The decision caused Liberal support across Canada to drop in many polls, and Dion once again resigned as party leader.
Based on that info. you can somewhat base you opinion. :)
(but in my opinion, it was a good choice)

Dion is the leader of the Liberal Party in Canada. I think it was time, things are happening in Canada, and I am not where that will lead them. It think Harper may have made a misstep by shutting down Parliament Thursday, but time will tell. Many were calling for him to step down, but come end of January, the Parliament will need to be in place in Canada with a promised new budget.

Never heard of him. As regards the act of any War... it is Politicians that start Wars and not the ordinary Subjects of any Country.
