Would Krishna touch an 'untouchable' ? If not, why not? If 'yes' why won't 'high caste' do the same?

Update:

malcolm, hypocrisy exists pretty much everywhere, yes, sad but true

manoj_menon, I appreciate the insight.

Update 2:

Kimimela, I can see a certain *rationale* to subjecting one caste to a higher death-rate and lower quality of life, but to do so when the 'gods' would NOT do so is puzzling to me.

the Jewish 'kosher' system does not seem to force anyone to die more than other segments of the population nor to live a worse quality of life.

Update 3:

ssrvj, I still wonder why "high-caste" people will not do as their gods (eg SHiva) will do?

I believe he would. For Him, the external differences did not matter at all because He was identified with all of creation.

"High caste" do not do the same as they are still identified in differences of race, sex, position, status and other silly ego traps
