Why is it when life gives you something good god craps in your face?

I don't seem to have that same problem. It could be possible that you're getting what you ask for in the form of karma.

I believe you have that turned around backwards. God gives you something good and life craps in your face.

The trick is, try to foresee the quirks life hands us before we are surprised. But this is hard to do. I also believe these odd quirks are refered to as ' Murphy's Law '.

It depends if you are an optimist or pessimist.

God is The Life. So He/She might be telling you something.

God doesn't hand you the ball and say "run with it!" He hands you the ball and says "Look OUT!" as the opposition team pounces on you. God likes a good scrimmage. he isn't Santa Claus.
